Eclipse 에 STS (Spring IDE) 설치 및 Spring MVC 프로젝트 테스트



개요

STS (SpringSource Tool Suite) 를 Eclipse에 설치하고 Spring 프로젝트를 생성하면 스프링과 관련한 라이브러리를 직접 다운로드하고 설정해야 하는 번거로움도 해결되고 자동으로 시작할 수 있는 Template 프로젝트도 지원되므로 프로젝트를 시작할 때 시간을 절약할 수 있고 프로젝트가 진행되면서 다른 라이브러리가 요구될 때도 Maven 기능을 이용하여 라이브러리의 선언 만으로도 해당 라이브러리를 프로젝트에 설정할 수 있어서 매우 편리하게 된다.

STS를 Eclipse에 설치하면 별도의 Maven 플러그인 없이도 Spring 프로젝트에서 기본적인 Maven 기능을 이용할 수가 있고 Spring 프로젝트로 시작하지 않고 Maven 프로젝트로 시작하여 Spring 프로젝트를 생성할 수도 있다. 

여기서는 STS 를 Eclipse에 설치하고 Spring MVC Project 를 생성하고 실행하는 절차를 알아보고자 한다



Eclipse Spring IDE (STS) 설치

Eclipse > Help > Eclipse Marketplace

검색창에 Spring IDE 입력 > Go

검색 결과 리스트에서 현재 Eclipse 버전용 STS를 선택

Install > Confirm

I accept ~

설치 완료 후 Eclipse Restart



Spring MVC Project

New > Spring > Spring Project > 프로젝트 이름 입력, Template: Spring MVC Project 

> Next > top level package 입력, 예) org.kdea.myspring > Finish

참고 : 프로젝트를 생성하는 시점에서 서버가 설치된 상태가 아니라면 프로젝트 이름을 입력하는 창에서  

서버를 설정하는 항목이 있으므로 서버설정 절차에 따라서 설정하면 된다.

이 절차를 마치면 Eclipse 의 Project Explorer에 프로젝트가 생성되며 처음에는 프로젝트 이름 위에

오류를 의미하는 적색 x 표시가 나타나지만 프로젝트가 완전히 생성되고 나면 적색 x 표시는 사라지게 된다.

실행 : 프로젝트 위에서 마우스 우측을 누르고 Run As > Run on server 선택

결과 : 웹브라우저가 실행되면서 http://localhost:8080/myspring/ 으로 접속되고 화면에 'Hello World' 가 출력된다

화면의 'Hello World' 아래에 나타난 현재시간 문자열 중의 한글이 깨져서 나타나는데 home.jsp의 charset을 utf-8으로 편집하면 된다



Java Resources/Libraries/JRE System Library 설정변경

생성된 프로젝트에 기본으로 설정된 Java 버전이 현재 시스템과 다르면 다음과 같이 변경한다

JRE System Library > 마우스 우측 > Properties > Workspace Default JRE(jre8) 선택



기본으로 생성된 프로젝트를 실행한 결과 화면



프로젝트 생성시에 자동으로 생성된 파일의 내용은 다음과 같다
